Blockleader’s editor Jillian Godsil is a finalist in the annual CryptoAM Awards 2021 in London. Godsil was a finalist in the Education category.
The awards will be announced at a glittering event on Thursday 30th September where a remarkable gathering of industry stars come together to celebrate some of the most important people involved in the world of blockchain, cryptocurrency, DeFi and AI.
“Education is a broad church. In this wonderful decentralised, disrupted era, there are many paths to education. If someone has a smart phone and access to the internet, then she can go anywhere, be anything, and become whatever her passion wants. It is my privilege, as a journalist, to tell these stories about the possible,” says Godsil.
“I am honoured to be recognised by this award; in this exciting sector I strive to make blockchain and crypto accessible to all. This is my passion. Thank you CryptoAM.”
The honoured guests will be gathering at the prestigious Leonardo Royal Hotel in St Paul’s for London’s premier annual honours ceremony for crypto.
There are fourteen awards up for grabs, all judged by an independent expert panel of industry leaders.
The top award, City AM Outstanding Industry Contribution Award, reads like a who’s who in crypto and includes Peter McCormack, Charles Hoskinson, Stani Kulechov, Vitalik Buterin, Michael Saylor, Caitlin Long, Meltem Demirors, Elizabeth Stark and Rachel Wolfson.
The Education Award, supported by Luno, will recognise an organisation that have either been a leading force to educate the public outside the blockchain industry and/or have championed efforts to improve industry-wide transparency, expanding the knowledge of industry participants.
The judges will look for evidence of how the organisation’s contributions lead to greater adoption, accessibility, understanding and/or credibility of blockchain and digital assets.
The other finalists for the Education Award include CryptoCanal, The Realization Group, Gary Nuttall MBCS CITP, Cointelligence Academy, and Coinscrum.
